Duncannon North Lighthouse, situated at the entrance to Waterford Harbour in County Wexford,  has been guiding ships across the Irish Sea since 1838. Originally this tower was located at Roches Point in County Cork, where it was found unsuitable for a major harbour and port. After being dismantled, it was transported by two small boats to Duncannon where it was reassembled with lantern lamps and reflectors, becoming the charming Duncannon North Light and forming a rear leading light with Duncannon Fort Light in 1838.

Printed with archival pigment ink on 290gr art paper with a slightly textured silk finish.

Pigment inks are designed to be stable over long periods of time, allowing prints to be displayed (under proper conditions) for many decades.

All mounts and backing boards are lignin-free, alkaline-sized, pH neutral and are calcium carbonate buffered to enhance their useful lifespan by minimising the effect of atmospheric pollutants.
