Guardians of the Sea – Stained Glass Lamp

This handcrafted stained glass lamp, set on a walnut wooden base, is named “Guardians of the Sea.” The name honours the strength and symbolism of Hook Lighthouse — one of the oldest working lighthouses in the world — standing as a steadfast protector on Ireland’s coast, guiding sailors safely through storm and darkness.

On the front panel, the lighthouse shines tall, flanked on either side by vibrant red-sailed boats. The design flows seamlessly around the four sides of the lamp, with each panel contributing to the story of sea, light, and safe passage.

The panels are crafted in a rich palette of vibrant, unique colours that capture the ever-changing moods of the ocean. Finished in a polished black pewter patina with elegantly curved edges at the top, the lamp glows with depth and character when lit.

Made in my studio by the sea using the traditional Tiffany technique, Guardians of the Sea is more than a lamp — it is a timeless tribute to Ireland’s maritime heritage, a beacon of light, and a reminder of the guardianship of the sea.

Supplied with a rocker ON/OFF switch, on a gold coloured electric lead with a 13A 3 pin plug, on an oak handmade wooden base. (Approx size: 4" wide x 13." Tall including the felted wooden base) All our lamps are supplied with a L.E.D. bulb, and are P.A.T. tested. You can change the bulb types for a different atmosphere and look to the glass, changing its mood.
