The Long Walk

This kiln fused Tea-Light candle holder is made of layers of glass, individually painted by hand and fired in a special glass kiln over 48 hours. The turquoise glass is semi transparent, so that the flame from the candle shines through the glass. 

Glass captures the beauty of Galway's historical area known as The Long Walk, located beside the River Corrib, and opposite the famous fishing village, known as The Claddagh, which is part of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, and very popular with locals and visiting tourists to Galway City.
