Tír na nÓg – Stained Glass Lamp
This unique handmade stained glass lamp is named “Tír na nÓg”, inspired by the mythical Celtic land of eternal youth, beauty, and harmony. Just as the legend tells of a world beneath the sea where time stands still, the lamp evokes a sense of timeless wonder and serenity.
At the heart of the design, three kiln-fused fish in vibrant coloured glass swim gracefully around the four panels. Each fish carries hand-painted Celtic spirals — ancient symbols of life’s eternal flow. The surrounding turquoise ring-mottle art glass reflects the shifting, fluid beauty of the underwater world, catching the light as though illuminated by the sea itself.
The lamp’s form is completed with four curved edges at the top, an oak handcrafted base lined with felt, and a polished black pewter finish. Created with the traditional Tiffany technique in my studio by the sea, Tír na nÓg is both a functional lamp and a work of art — a piece that celebrates Celtic mythology, the ocean’s mystery, and the promise of everlasting beauty.
The beauty of our individually designed lamps, they are so unique, you won't see them anywhere else in the world.....
