The Robin’s Nest is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind work of art, born from a creative collaboration between two artists, bringing together the beauty of stained glass, copper sculpture and natural stone.

Handcrafted from numerous individual pieces of fiery orange opal art glass, each piece has been carefully selected and joined together using the age-old Tiffany stained glass technique.

The name The Robin’s Nest came to life during the creative process, as the intricate, interconnecting pieces of glass gradually began to resemble the delicate, woven structure of a bird’s nest. Just as a robin carefully builds its nest, each piece of glass was thoughtfully placed, creating a beautiful sense of movement, texture and connection.

When illuminated, the rich, fiery shades of orange and amber glow with warmth, bringing the glass to life and creating a magical play of light.

The stained glass is finished in a rich copper patina, beautifully complementing the copper sculpture and elegant marble base. Together, these materials create a wonderful harmony of colour, texture and craftsmanship.
